 Today, we went over how to write a narrative essay. We had a prompt and had to come up with a narrative/story line. We went through step by step creating the different elements of a narrative. I didn’t get to finish it, but I partially finished one paragraph. Also, the narrative was written like a diary entry.

 Today we continued what we did yesterday. We went through the steps to write and argumentative essay. We did three paragraphs and went through step by step how to do it. We didn’t really finish in class so we had to finish it for homework. I didn’t have to do much because I did most of it in class.

 Today we watched a video on changing the faces of the US currency with women. Then we did a bellringer if we could change and faces on the US currency who would u do. I said Andrew Jackson and said I will change him out with Susan B. Anthony. Then we read two articles on changing the face of the 50 dollar bill and keeping the 50 dollar bill the same. Then we picked a side and did the writer’s checklist for the rest of the period.

I love looking at Shug.” “But Shug don’t love looking at but one of us. Him.”

 What we did today was we read the book the “Color Purple”. We read 3 letters and analyzed what we read. We listened to an audiobook of the “Color Purple”. Later we got the assignment that we had to do a found poem. We started that in class and that continued I on for the rest of the class period. Next tomorrow we will present them poems.

 Today we read more of the color purple.we read two more letters and they were pretty long. For the people who did not finish the benchmark they did that is class but the rest of us did the reading. After every letter we did we had to come up with two themes and write down the class periods before us themes. This mainly took the whole class period.

 Today we finished the benchmark. This took the whole class period because mostly everybody was on the constricted response. Number 20 was an essay and I only did three paragraphs because I ran out of time. We had no lesson obviously because of the benchmark and that was the whole class period.

 Today in class we did a benchmark. This benchmark took the whole class period so that was the whole lesson. In the middle of the benchmark we had to turn in our papers for ap testing and that took like 2 minutes. After that we continued to do the benchmark and I didn’t finish today but I’ll finish tomorrow. There was 20 question and I stopped at 18.

 Today we did the last of the group presentations. There was only two groups that went today and it was pretty easy. In the middle of class some of the students including me went to a room to get papers about Ap testing. After that we went back to class and watched the letters that we read during the presentations.

 Today we did more group presentations. Three more groups went and presented their letters and we took down notes for each group. However, today I also did a test for the whole class period that I was missing. Therefore I didn’t get to do all the groups but I got the assignment done for one of the groups. 

 Today we presented our group projects. My group went first and it went pretty good. After us two more groups went to present. While they were presenting we had to do 321’s. We had to write three themes of the letter each group presented, 2 interesting facts, and one question on the letter. That’s was the class period for today.

 

 Today was Election Day so we had no school. Today I joust did all the work from my classes. I had a lot of work to do but I eventually got it done. I finished the drawing I had to do for the group project today. Also my group will have to present tomorrow.

 Today at the beginning of class we sat in groups. Then we went over the assignment we were going to do and the rubric. After that Mr. Rease assigned everybody a role to do for the assignment and a date when we were going to have to present. My group was assigned to present on Wednesday and my role that I got was illustrator.

 Today Mr.Rease was not here. Also we copied down new vocabulary words and did the first exercise. After that that we just chilled for a few minutes. We had a pep rally and that last the rest of the school day.

 Today we took our vocabulary quiz. This took up the first half of class and it was 15 questions. We also had a semi-quick tornado drill in the middle of class. After that we read more of the book “The Color Purple”. We read two more letters and did the assignment that we did yesterday.

 Today we read more of the story “The Color Purple”. We also discussed each letter and what it’s meaning was. We did an assignment on illuminate where we had to pick a quote and tell its topic,theme, and the analysis. We only read  three letters because they were pretty lengthy but that took majority of the class.

 Today we answered questions about the story “The Color Purple”. We answered as a class and went through each question and explained our answers. This took us the whole class period to do and it was 10 questions. We will continue reading the story on tomorrow’s but today was more of a recap of what we read yesterday.
